📣 Public Drop‑In Event: Gravity Enterprise Zone – 28 January

Somerset Council is hosting a community drop‑in session about the Gravity Enterprise Zone on Wednesday 28 January, 2:30–5:30 PM, at the 37 Sports & Social Club, Puriton.

This is your chance to learn more about plans for the site, ask questions, and speak directly with organisations involved in bringing the Gravity project forward. A range of partners from the Local Community Forum will be present to help answer queries, including representatives from Somerset Council, Agratas, National Grid, Sir Robert McAlpine, local councils, schools, and community networks.

If you live in Puriton, Woolavington, or nearby communities and would like to understand more about what’s happening on site, we encourage you to drop in.

The Gravity Enterprise Zone is a 616‑acre site between Puriton and Woolavington, designated for clean, long‑term economic growth. The project aims to bring new skilled jobs, attract investment, and reinvest business rate income locally to support future workforce and community benefits.

We look forward to seeing those who wish to learn more and take part in shaping the next steps for this important local development.
