National Highways have been carrying out an essential road marking and stud replacement scheme between M5 J22 & J31 over recent months. This work will soon be taking place between M5 J23 & J24 with a signed diversion route as attached through Bridgwater.

The works have been planned to keep disruption to a minimum and the diversion route will be clearly signed.

What will this look like:

  • Southbound M5 J23 – J24 full closures on the following dates
    • 26 Feb 21:00 – 27 Feb 06:00
    • 27 Feb 21:00 – 28 Feb 06:00
    • 2 March 21:00 – 3 March 06:00
  • Signed diversion route via the A38 as attached
