Temporary extension of construction working hours: Monday 6 October and Tuesday 7 October 2025
We’re writing to inform you about a short-term, temporary increase in construction working hours at the site of our battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset, to carry out an important phase of work to ‘Building One’ – the first stage of our facility.
On Monday 6 October and Tuesday 7 October, we plan to temporarily extend our construction working hours from 7am – 7pm (current) to 7am – 11pm.
During this additional period each day, we plan to smooth, compact and harden the concrete which makes up our facility’s multi-level floors. For the safety of our team working onsite, this activity requires specialist machinery to operate for an extended period of time when no other construction work is taking place.
Please be assured that noise levels will be kept to a minimum during this additional period in line with agreed regulatory requirements. We have also received prior approval from Somerset Council.
